Psyche has a large house that she shares with her parents and Sensei. It consists of an attic, a garden, a pond, a main level and a studio apartment downstairs. Here's a tour:
History[]
Sensei lived in this house, which belonged to his ancestors before. The large design and many rooms, which were inhabited by one penguin, made it seem pretty lonely after a while. Thankfully when Psyche came around, there was a person to share it with. Psyche has her parents back now and shares the house with them and sensei.
Design[]
When you enter the house you are greeted by a mudroom decorated in traditional japanese style, with bamboo plants and folkart decorating the walls. The living room has a more modern feel to it, with big windows, cubist furniture, and muted colors. There's also a Snowtendo Vii, which Psyche got for her 10th birthday. She uses it to play New Super Penguin Bros. Vii, The Legend of Penga: Moonlight princess, and the like. Sensei has a Snowtendo 64 which he uses to play stuff like Super Penguin 64 and The Legend of Penga: Flute of Time. Nearby is the kitchen, which has typical appliances and a sunny breakfast room. Nearby is the dining room, which has 4 seats and a dragon statue for a centerpiece, as well as a couple lanterns. The meditation room is open-air and has a half shady and half sunny pond. (To represent the yin-yang, possibly?) It also doubles as a pool on hot days. There is a garden in back, in which Psyche and her mom grow all kinds of plants. Believe me, it's like an all-you-can-eat buffet for your nose. Also there is a master bedroom where Sensei sleeps, with an en suite bathroom, traditional furniture, and a closet to keep all his hats. O_o Upstairs is pretty much the parents' room, with a his and hers bathroom and closet, as well as a ton of books and art. Downstairs is where Psyche hangs out, with lots of art and fashion, as well as a rainbow of colors and a closet and en suite, and a balcony. She also keeps her Snowtendo DSi here. The entire house has an eco friendly design, with a magic bell on the roof that absorbs and recycles lunar and solar energy, and a system that recycles and cleanses water.
