The Dock is one of the most important places in Club Penguin Island.
Background[]
In Penguin Chat 3, it was a time of building and hurry. Workers came from Eastshield, Pengolia, and even Freezeland to design Club Penguin City. However, many ships loaded with large amounts of wood, steel, glass, brick, and iron were grounded. Captains trying to land on the north side of the island were blocked by mountains, Captains landing on the West Side wouldn't see the rocks (the Lighthouse was not made at this point) and crash, and captains landing on the East would end up in the middle of the woods.
At this point, Gary suggested the south side. Instantly, a Lighthouse went up nearby, and then workers built several docks. The goods poured in, and the Nightclub, Pizza Parlor, and Coffee Shop were finished. The dock then had more ships coming in to trade, and it became a trading area. Large amounts of goods were stationed here.
Unluckily, a sabotage attack from terroristic penguins burnt the goods and piers, and the Dock was in ruins. This led to the downsizing of the Dock, and then the Hydro Hopper game was introduced as an entertainment site. Rockhopper's ship used to land here also. Now, most ships land on the West Side because of the Lighthouse being built.

This used to be a crucial trading area, but now is just a place to hang around.
