The Box Dimension is well known for its box portals. These items are gateways to the Box Dimension and were sold to certain well-to-do penguins during April Fools Day of 2008 at Club Penguin. Simply stepping into the box portal instantly throws the user to the Box Dimension, where the exit portal permits them to choose a place in CP to return to.
How it works[]
A Time Agency technician explains:
"Think of it as a many-pronged fork. The various 'boxes' in our dimension are the numerous, almost infinite prongs and the handle is the exit portal in the box dimension. Everybody knows that dimensions are separated by an empty space between them, the Void. This metaphorical fork acts as a bridge between the two universes, with the prongs in our dimension and the handle in the Box Dimension. Therefore, entering a box portal will lead you to the exit portal in the box dimension, and from the exit portal (the 'handle') you can enter any of the prongs."
"Now, there are some obvious issues with this. Many will object to a stranger suddenly appearing in their igloo or arriving at the wrong destination, so when the portals were created Gary gave them an artificial intelligence that reacts to the selection of the destination and directs the traveler there. This can be manipulated through a computer in the PSA."
